Description: 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM ET Improving the quality of care in our nation’s health care facilities, including long-term care facilities, is one of our highest priorities at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). To accomplish this goal, AHRQ has launched the On-Time Quality Improvement for Long-Term Care project, a nationwide health information technology initiative designed to streamline daily care documentation and give health care providers real-time information about patients in long-term care settings. This interactive web conference will help to educate long-term care decision makers and providers, provide an opportunity to learn about this project, and to have questions answered by researchers who have developed these quality improvement tools. This Interactive Web Conference will also be the applicants’ information conference for the On-Time Quality Improvement for Long Term Care Program Request for Applications to be released by the New York State Department of Health. Through this RFA, the NYS DOH will offer financial support to nursing homes that wish to implement the On-Time program.
